At Christmas, through a free socially distanced choir performance by the Kingsland Community Gospel Choir as a community we raised some funds for Colchester Food bank.
Furthermore, throughout the pandemic we have gathered and contributed food donations.
Tim volunteers at two Covid-19 Vaccination centres one at Colchester United FC and the other at the Primary Care Centre in turner road.
We regularly supply food and other items to Make lunch Myland which is a local initiative to support parents and children who are in need of extra support during the school holidays.
Make Lunch Myland was set up to provide support during school holidays for families of children entitled to free school meals during term time.
As a family we are part of Mile End litter warriors and as such we collect litter in our local area together.
This is a great family activity which aids exercise for the children and teaches social responsibility in an engaging way.
As people have need and as Covid-19 restrictions allow we are able to visit people in their homes, at hospital, in care homes or wherever they have need.
